Located in Jefferson County, Blue Ridge Manor is a small community covering only .19 square miles of rolling Kentucky land. Blue Ridge Manor was incorporated on November 19, 1969, and is bordered by Shelbyville Road, Moser Road, I-64 and South Hurstbourne Parkway. According to the 2009 census, there are 659 people residing in Blue Ridge Manor in 323 households. American explorer George Rogers Clark lived out his last year's in a 1790 Georgian mansion located near Blue Ridge Manor.
